Under the guidance of artist Linzi Pattison, this workshop will demonstrate the art of watercolour painting techniques giving you the skills and confidence to create your own watercolour painting taking inspiration from the beautiful surroundings of Thornbridge Hall.      

The session will start with basic watercolour techniques moving onto layering to control value and opacity of the paint. Watercolour captures light beautifully and has a wonderful transparent quality. 

The workshop is suitable for beginners and those with more experience so all are welcome.     

 Linzi Pattison has over 25 years teaching experience in schools and her own studio, she has successfully sold many of her paintings and runs courses on painting and crafts throughout Derbyshire to inspire both children and adults to be creative.
