We have recently been visited by a secret shopper from visit England!

Lush countryside, rolling hills, and scenic walking trails in the heart of the beautiful Peak District surround Thornbridge Estate. The estate is a treasure trove of eclectic charm, with a mix of architectural styles that reflect its rich history and the creative vision of its owners. The whimsical details and artistic touches make visitors feel like they've stepped into a storybook setting. 

The attraction's ethos is simple: "Thornbridge 4 Everyone, Forever," making it a special place and adored by those who visit. Thornbridge Estate describes itself as "The quirkiest stately home in the
UK", I cannot argue with that sentiment. 

It is a truly exceptional place that left lasting memories and proved that dreams can come true. 

Emma and Jim open their home every day and make visitors feel like they've just popped over for a cup of tea. It was a joy to visit. 

This commendable assessment means that the house tour meets the criteria to be nominated for the VisitEngland 'Best Told Story Tour’ accolade. The excellent team of staff that makes the place so welcoming have been nominated for the ‘Welcome’ accolade."
