Learn how to Macrame! Join Oaklea Crafts at Quackers cafe for a 2.5-hour Macrame Dreamcatcher, Plant Hanger or Wall Hanging Workshop!
Knotting—or macramé—is one of many crafts being revived by those who love working with their hands and has recently been transformed from a 1970s relic into a hot, trendy art form. A versatile form of fiber art, macramé uses simple materials like cotton twine, jute, hemp, or yarn, to make a variety of items including plant hangers, clothing, and purses.
In this 2.5-hour workshop, attendees will be taken through step by step how to create 4 of the basic macrame knots to create their own macrame Dreamcatcher, Plant Hanger or Wall Hanging to take home.
The ticket price includes tuition and all materials.
